Otis grabs the FlipCam and catches our rather noisy and ailing (now all better) baby eagle (actually yellow-billed kite) red-taloned sneaking a drink from the pond.
Backstory: Yellow-billed Kite family has a nest in our little garden. Two babies were born in the spring. One (this one) fell out of the nest and broke its leg. The mom (and everyone at the house) have been taking care of the baby for the last two months as it hung out in the yard. Then, about 10 days ago, it started to fly. So now they come and go and baby is adjusting to Kite life with one functional leg. Doing pretty well, but landings are rough.

Wow, a yellow billed kite! I bet the wonder pets helped it out!!!
